Improving computer. Halp!

Post by zoraktar on Thu Nov 29, 2012 9:43 am

As tittle does say.
I'm improving my computer.
Atm i have got small speakers as you seen pic from "Show yourself" and now i bought YAMAKASI CATLEAP Q270 SE 27" LED with 200€...
Next i'm going to uprage GFX card as i assume my 5770 does have trouble to run games with 2560x1440...

Made post to WoT forums but meh they don't help much... Any suggestions? 250€ is limit pretty much... 300€ at tops.

MSI GeForce GTX 660 Ti Power Edition 2GB GDDR5 192bit, 2xDVI/HDMI/DP
MSI AMD Radeon HD 7950 OC, 3GB GDDR5, DVI/HDMI/2xMiniDP, PCI-E 3.0 -->I'd take this one
Sapphire AMD Radeon HD 7870 OC, 2GB GDDR5, DVI/HDMI/2xMiniDP
BTW, I've got a SAPPHIRE FleX HD 7870 GHZ EDITION 2GB GDDR5, DVI(Dual-Link)/HDMI/DP/DVI-D(Single-Link).
And it's really good.

Got Radeon 4850 with just 512MB, but it still performs quite good. Problem is, its cooling already died and I am running a custom one. Whoever designed this radiator should die, it's pain to clean it.

Potential other problem is that as far as I'm aware of, they're not selling them anymore. And buying used one may be followed by fried cooling. Original fan lasted I guess 2,5-3 years only.

This. I have a 4 years old 9600 GT and it started to struggle only recently.
Also started having some cooling problems. Very Happy
