I cannot win with the Aoba, this is kind of sad, I have to go for citadels to be useful which is fine, I expected that but no matter how much i do I end my games burning with a dead team.

I find myself wishing i was a Cleveland far too often.

now that i have unlocked Shokaku i am ready for Bismarck release

anyway, having met Lexington with my stock planes i totally agree on most points about Lexi made earlier, but id like to add that not only Lexi has great fighters (with enough dps to rekt your planes in seconds and so much durability T7 cruisers cant even scratch them), but also has the best AA at T8... and T9! this, combined with the 2-fighters setup, means it is nearly unkillable

Having Torpedo Tubes at both sides is sometimes really helpfull, in the following case it gave me two devasting strikes and a double kill at the same time Smile

There's something depressing about losing to cap when you're trying to have a valiant last stand.

Kongo is amazing once upgraded, sometimes the matchmaking dicks it over but it's one of the most solid tier fives and I loved playing it.

Myogi as great.. Sure compared to Kawachi. 5 hits, 1k dmg. Thanks, surely awesome comapred to Kawachi's "You are 3km away let me miss whole salvo." Because thats what happens with me. All the time. IF I hit someone it does 1k dmg / hit at most. Then every 3-4 game I score 15k citadel for one or two guys. Still, back in the Kawachi days, 5 salvos, 2 km, 15 hits, 3000 dmg. 5 salvos are 40 shells so thats a pathetic hitratio, and then this awesome dmg. Sometimes I feel I should shoot HE... WoWS doesnt like me (I have 60 detonation flags too afterall, from not that many games).

1k damage is usually because you over penetrated, it was more noticeable in the Myogi because of it's poor dispersion and relatively small broadside. It's at least better than it was in the beta as a ship, it actually has some AA now.

IJN carrier nerfs, Minekaze nerfs, buffs for other stuff, seems ok so far. I wonder which carriers will be affected?

Also apparently the Myoko was OP and is getting nerfed. I just got her Crying or Very sad

It's probably the Isokaze's turn to shine, that as of yet seems unchanged.

Played a single game the other day in a DD after who knows how long now, quite annoying. Some random fucktard just yolos into the enemy then just fills the chat with waffle. Near the end he proceeds to call me a noob because I'm the last one floating taking fire from three ships and that I can't dodge shells properly.

Call me when I can turn chat off.

you are crazy, just get yourself a DD, even a INJ one will do if you can stealth torp russian DDs
i did 28 dd kills in farragut over 30/32 battles (i lost a couple of 1vs1), the first 2 kills were made in Aoba over the course of 10 battles, really, hunting DDs with DDs is the easiest way (just remember that if you are in an american DD and you are fighting a russian DD you have to stay within 7km)

yeah, cant do it in Minekaze, T6 min
when i was in division with Lehtikala he was using Mutsuki for the DD mission, no idea if he managed it or not but he was saying that if you dont get spotted it is easy enough to set up a torp barrage that enemy DDs cant evade

I can imagine it would not be so hard, but I'm lazy to grind Minekaze for this. So Aoba it is. I got so close to 1800 XP too...
